I would also like to know what you use to 'stick' it all together! Some kind of resin? super glue nowadays is watered down to prevent accidents so it can't be that right?

Haha youre not far wrong, it just depends on the material
Different metals will adhere better with different things.. a Mix of Glues, Resins and Solder though and you cant go wrong

Be warned though, industrial glues of course are very powerful and id advise against those if you can avoid it
